Einstein Was Here is a great option for those who are looking for somethin...g different in the Centre/East part of town. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home, including preparing an excellent breakfast at your convenience. The accommodations are modern, yet part of a historically protected building. The location is excellent if you want to be near UVA, and there are metro and tram options nearby if you wish to explore other parts of the city. I can highly recommend.

My husband and I had an excellent stay. Claartje is a delightful an...d interesting person. She provided a delicious, healthful breakfast with a lot of variety, attractively presented. We appreciated the personal interaction of having conversations with her and her husband.
The bed is comfortable. There is a hair blow dryer in the bathroom.
The neighborhood is quiet and leafy. There are quite a few good restaurants in walking distance. It is only about 12 minutes by tram to Centraal Station.

My daughter (16) and I had a stellar experience with Einstein Was Her...e B&B. The bedroom was small for two but perfectly clean, breakfast and hosts were superb, and location was close to the Dutch Resistance Museum (super worth visiting), the Artis Zoo and its flamingos, the Botanical Gardens, plenty of walkable cafés, and public transportation on Metro and trams. The neighborhood feels safe and is only a few blocks east of the center-city action. We strongly recommend a stay here.

Supervriendelijke gastvrouw, heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt in een hee...l gezellige ruimte met zicht op het water, zeer nette ruime kamer en badkamer. Goeie locatie in een wat minder druk gedeelte van de stad.
Wij appreciëren ook erg de glutenvrije aanpassing van het ontbijt met extra zelfgebakken bananentaart.
